Education Qualification:—Those candidates who are looking for the NIT Karnataka Teaching and NonTeaching Jobs their education qualification is given below.
For the post of Librarian:—Candidates should have passed the master degree in Library Science/information science/with the 60% marks.
For the post of Medical Officer:—Candidates should have passed the MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification.
For the post of Executive Engineer:—Candidates should have passed the first class degree in engineering (Electrical/Civil/Communication) from a recognized university.
For the post of Assistant Registrar:—Master degree with any stream from the recognized university.
Librarian:—Eligible candidates age should be the not more than 55 years.

About the NIT Karnataka
The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) formerly known as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC), is a public engineering university at Surathkal, on the outskirts of Mangalore. It was founded in 1960 as KREC while today, it is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. It is a top engineering and science institute in the state of Karnataka. It has a suburban campus, in close proximity to the Arabian Sea. National Highway 66 runs through the campus and serves as the major mode of access. It is ranked 22 in the country, according to the National Institutional Ranking Framework engineering rankings.The foundation stone for Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC) was laid on 6 August 1960,at Surathkal. It was made possible through the efforts of U. Srinivas Mallya and V. S. Kudva and the area is now called Srinivasnagar in his honor. KREC began with three undergraduate courses in engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil, with affiliation to the University of Mysore. 1965 saw the beginning of undergraduate courses in Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering.
