Selection procedure of  eligible candidature’s for Civil Judge exam is based on written examination of UPPSC Judicial Service. Every year Commission  published notification in the month of may or June for the recruitment Civil Judge.This year official notification came on 21 july 2015 ,exam date is yet not mentioned  wll be updated very soon.last date of submission online form is 21 aug.2015 and last date for receipt of examination fees in bank is 17 aug.2015.  Law graduates  fill up their application form online,  through the official website of uppsc. Selection procedure of eligible candidature’s will gone through on three levels preliminary examination, main examination and personal interview test.

Judicial Service Recruitment 2015

Selection process for Judicial Service 197 Posts For Civil Judge (Division Junior) Recruitment 2015 the eligible candidates will be done through three  levels:

Civil Judge Recruitment 2015 level first : Preliminary Examination :

Preliminary examination will be held for all candidates. PRE-Exam of civil judge will be held for screening purpose. Pre exam will be held on various examination centers  are Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Meerut districts. The nature and standards of questions in this paper will be such that a well educated person will be able to answer them without any specialized study.

Pattern for  Preliminary examination of Judicial Service Recruitment

Paper 1 -General Knowledge GK / GS  Objective type – Maximum marks 200 ,  Time duration 2 Hours 
  • History of India and Indian Culture,
  • Geography of India,
  • Indian Polity,
  • Current National Issues and topics of Social relevance,
  • India and the world, Indian Economy,
  • International Affairs and Institutions and development in the field of Science and Technology, Communications and Space.
Paper 2 – law – maximum marks  – 300 , Time duration – 2 hours ,  question type – Objective , MCQ based. 

Syllabus of paper 2 written examination:

This paper mainly focus on current events as day to day happenings around India and the world, particularly in Legal spheres,
  • Acts and Laws.
  • Jurisprudence
  • International Organizations
  • Current International Affairs
  • Indian Constitution
  • Transfer of Property Act
  • Indian Evidence Act
  • Indian Penal Code
  • Civil Procedure Code
  • Criminal Procedure Code
  • Law of Contract

Level Second : Main examination

Only those candidates will be called for Main Examination (Written Examination) who obtain such minimum marks as may be fixed by the Commission for the purpose on the basis of preliminary exam.
Pattern for main examination :
Paper No: 1 General Knowledge  (200 MARK)
Paper No. 2 Language
Paper No. 3 Law – I (Substantive Law)
Paper No. 4 Law-II (Procedure and Evidence)
Paper No. 5 Law-III (Penal, Revenue and Local Laws)

Level Third : Personal Interview  

The candidates who qualify in the written examination shall have to appear compulsorily in Personality Test (Viva-voce. The candidates for the main examination shall be declared successful in the ratio of 1:10 and for interview in the ratio of 1:3 . The interview will be of 100 marks. Marks obtained in the interview will be added to the Marks obtained in the written papers .

 Civil Judge expected  salary should be –
 (munsiff magistrate):   Pay scale : 27700-770-35090-920-40450-1080-44770
 Qualification  :  Graduation Degree in law .  Or an Advocate enrolled under the provisions of the Advocate Act 1961 or a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland and is entitled to practice in the Court or Courts subordinate thereto; (C) Must possess thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri Script
Age: minimum 22 year and maximum 35 years as on 1 July 2015 .
Important Dates should be kept in mind once again:
Online forms starts: 21-07-2015.
Last Date for Submission  Online Application: 21-08-2015.
Last Date for Receipt  Examination Fees in the Bank: 17-08-2015.
